Job Description

PURPOSE: Coordinate with the Shop Manager to manage fabrication orders and schedule production and delivery to ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Demonstrate conduct consistent with Harris Rebar’s vision and values.
  2. Printing customer and branch orders and compiling all required paperwork.
  3. Data entry of customer orders and fabrication requests.
  4. Develop exceptional working relationships with customers and vendors.
  5. Advise customers of scheduled delivery dates.
  6. Coordinate with our customer and our teammates to provide accurate and correct delivery of material.
  7. Approve and process freight invoices, production tags, Bills of Lading and receiving reports.
  8. Back-up position for shipping and scheduling.
  9. Perform other duties as required by supervisors.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and the Office applications
  • Possess excellent communication and time management skills
  • Possess independent judgment and excellent organizational skills
  • Possess superior interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Able to coordinate multiple projects and work under deadline pressure
  • High accuracy of data entry
  • Exceptional ability to multi-task
