PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR

Duties include:

  • Processing US and Canadian payrolls on a weekly basis;
  • Calculation and payment of taxes on a weekly basis;
  • Calculation and payment of garnishments on a weekly basis;
  • Calculation and payment of union dues on a monthly basis;
  • Processing Canadian and US Government Documentation;
  • Preparation of quarterly accounting reconciliations;
  • Preparation of quarterly reports – US government
  • Responding to inquiries, filing, and faxes. 

This job requires the person to work autonomously and take full responsibility for the payrolls issues and all functions relating to the employees on the payrolls.

 

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous payroll experience an asset;
  • Accurate data entry;
  • Capable of meeting deadlines and prioritizing workload;
  • Above average knowledge of Excel and Word;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Strong accounting knowledge;
  • People-oriented – enjoy dealing with people on a daily basis and assisting in solving their problems;
  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and written;
  • Team Player
  • CONFIDENTIALITY A MUST.
