Job Description

PURPOSE: Provide administrative assistance to the Branch by performing tasks that are more repetitive in nature and of less complexity.  Perform support at a basic operational level regarding two or more of the essential support functions necessary for the operation of the branch. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE

  1. Demonstrate conduct consistent with Harris Rebar’s vision and values.
  2. Answer and address all incoming phone calls in a timely and professional manner.
  3. Greet visitors and determine their needs in a professional manner.
  4. Assist visitors with completion of visitor name tags.
  5. Prepare documents when required utilizing Microsoft office applications.
  6. Responsible for all incoming and outgoing mail and couriers.
  7. Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion at all times.
  8. Ensure reception area is neat, organized and safe at all times.
  9. Perform other duties as required by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to operate a multi-line phone system while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are essential

 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

  •  Two year degree from an accredited school or college

 SPECIAL DEMANDS

  • Must be able to work overtime when required

  • Typical office activities
  • Walking, sitting, standing, bending
  • Using hands to operate objects, tools, computers and other electronic equipment
  • Vision abilities including close vision and adjusting focus
